9 week support group - Traumatic Bereavement
FACILITATED BY A BACP REGISTERED TRAUMA THERAPIST TRAINED IN COMPLEX GRIEF
Traumatic bereavement can shatter a persons assumptions about everything that person holds true about her/him self and the world
This group will facilitate a recognition of all losses associated with the bereavement, it will help with adjustment to the separation, readjust to the new world without the loved one without forgetting the old. It will help to think about ways the bereaved can reinvest time and energy to a relevant and associated cause.
This group is specialised and provides therapeutic intervention and support for prolonged and complex grief.
This group will help;
People who were bereaved over 6 months ago
People who have experienced a sudden traumatic bereavement .
Those who are struggling with making meaning and processing loved ones life and death.
Experienced bereavement by violent actions.
